# Bacon 400 | Celebrating Sir Francis Bacon

> This website has been created by The Parish of St Mary’s and St Michael’s to provide information about the events and celebrations taking place in St Albans for the 400th anniversary of Sir Francis Bacon’s death. As his home and final resting place, St Albans will be the focal point for global commemorations, featuring lectures, exhibitions, and community activities honoring his legacy as a philosopher, scientist, and statesman.
